SMS & Text Messaging Terms

Anvaya Wedding Updates is the text-message program Anvaya operates so that a couple can keep the guests of a specific wedding informed by SMS. Anvaya is a wedding planning platform at anvaya.love, operated by Automorphism LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.

Messages in this program are informational and transactional: they relate only to a wedding you have been invited to. Anvaya sends them on behalf of the couple whose wedding you are attending — the couple is the host of your messages, and Anvaya is the platform that delivers them.

If you opt in, you may receive texts about the wedding you are invited to, such as:

• Save-the-dates and invitations for the wedding and its events.
• RSVP confirmations and reminders — confirming a response you submitted or nudging you if one is still outstanding.
• Event details and day-of logistics — times, venues, dress code, travel or parking notes, and last-minute changes.

A sample message looks like this:

Anvaya (for Priya & Arjun): The sangeet starts at 7 PM Saturday at the Grand Ballroom. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.

Opting in is entirely optional. You provide consent through an unchecked-by-default checkbox on the wedding's RSVP form or guest signup form — for example, “Yes, I'd like text-message updates about this wedding.” You have to affirmatively check the box and provide your mobile number for the program to start.

Consent is not a condition of anything. You do not have to opt in to submit your RSVP, attend the wedding, purchase anything, or use any part of Anvaya. Leaving the box unchecked has no effect on your RSVP or on the wedding site.

A couple may also add a guest's mobile number themselves — but only where they have obtained the guest's prior consent to be texted about the wedding. This host-attested consent is required of every couple under Section 27 of our Terms of Service. Anvaya records the timestamp and the source of each opt-in.

Message frequency varies. This is not a recurring subscription with a fixed cadence — you will typically receive a small number of messages clustered around wedding milestones (for example, a save-the-date, an RSVP reminder, and a few event or day-of updates).

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Anvaya does not charge you to receive these messages and does not see, set, or refund any charges from your carrier.

To stop messages, reply STOP to any message. We also honor UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. Your opt-out is honored immediately — at both the carrier level and within Anvaya's own platform, which records the request and stops sending to your number.

To start again, reply START to resume messages after you have opted out.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier's network and is outside Anvaya's control.

Your mobile number, text-messaging originator opt-in data, and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use your number only to deliver the wedding updates you signed up for. The only parties that see it in the course of delivery are the couple hosting your wedding and the aggregators and providers of the text-messaging service (such as Twilio) that carry the message.
